Service Admin

The service admin is crucial in overseeing the entire ProtoPie Enterprise environment. They have full administrative privileges and manage members, teams, security, and authentication.

The comparison table below outlines the differences in privileges in ProtoPie Enterprise environments based on different roles:

  • Service admin: the top-level role with complete administrative privileges. An Enterprise environment can have one or multiple service admins.
  • Team owner: the owner of a specific team within the Enterprise environment. Each Enterprise team has a single team owner.
  • Team admin: Administrators of a specific team within the Enterprise environment. An Enterprise team can have one or multiple team admins.
  • Regular members: Editor or viewer members of a team within the Enterprise environment.

Team members can manage all public and private projects they are a member of. Additionally, they can delete prototypes (made by others) in all public projects and private projects they are a member of.

Setting Up ProtoPie Enterprise Environments

The setup process for ProtoPie Enterprise depends on your activated plan tier: On-Premises or Private Cloud.

Private Cloud:

  1. Utilize the unique Enterprise URL that you received from our team: https://xxxxx.protopie.cloud.
  2. Access the setup form by entering the Enterprise URL in your browser.
  3. Complete the form to configure your ProtoPie Enterprise environment and create your service admin account.

On-Premises:

  1. Utilize the Enterprise URL provided by your IT team to install ProtoPie Enterprise.
  2. Enter the Enterprise URL in your browser to access the setup form.
  3. Fill out the form to establish your ProtoPie Enterprise environment and set up your service admin account.
